I titled this painting aura because, for me, it captures the moment that two people, with two different auras, meet. To understand this painting, you have to imagine it in action, not static. Imagine that these two auras--the orange center with the blue rings and the yellow and white ring are colliding. The green bands symbolizes the tethering of one aura to the other. The slowly disappearing white band suggests that they are slowly melting into each other. However, the colors don't mix because they are independent of each other, existing in their own totality. Words have never been easy for me; I constantly overthink my word choices and find myself getting frustrated when I try to express myself clearly.
