View In My Room
The ending of a chapter is always the beginning of a new one. We are beginning to awaken from our past self, which was hidden behind walls, that we build over time ourselves. We don’t realize that we can't see the sky or enjoy the sun as much as we used to, as we built the fundaments of our walls so strong, that it became too easy eventually to add more brick rows to it, and eventually lose our live’s saturation within the shadows we live in. We do not realize how we get pulled into our own yard surrounded by these walls, and lock ourselves in, having forgotten to build windows and a door into our walls. We have forgotten to give us the space to breathe, forget how much we needed freedom to see endlessly far. But there will come a moment, when we realize that within our yard, we have all the materials we need not only for the walls around us but also the hammer to break them in. With one perfectly aimed hit we create doors, that we had forgotten, existed. The walls that once surrounded us and decreased our space to live have fallen and we are at first scared of taking the risk to leave the ruins of our walls behind. And as we take careful steps through the heavy rock and concrete pieces of our protection, we begin to build up our confidence. We begin to take the first deep breath and realize how it felt like to feel the wind smoothly hugging us, to feel the warmth of the sun on our face as we close our eyes, to recognize the scent of a forest that intensely and yet gently touches our smell receptors. The feeling of being able to use our senses again, being open and aware of our surroundings, instead of being numbed by ourselves, wanders through our whole body. And as we start to adapt to this positively overwhelming and wonderful feeling, we see a healthy and nurturing paradise in front of us. A paradise full of colors and life, full of energy and growth. We realize that we are alive again and in balance with ourselves.
