Born in Germany and emigratedwith my parents to England at the outbreak of WW2.We could only take household goods, no money,and some of those objects have remained with me all my life and appear in my Still Life paintings.I have Drawn and painted since childhood.\I was educated in England at Manchester College of Art and Goldsmiths' College, London. As well as painting I have done etching for many years , a tecknique which complements my paintings. After my marriage I moved to Israel.where I worked as an art teacher.
