Sketching & painting during my childhood, my imaginations were like a full-color film, happily inspired when I got a pen or brush in my hand, just to work out my thoughts with my own hands since I can remember. Take away the gray to paint how I like it, every day! For me, life in the 70s, when we were in an analog world without digital gadgets, was easy to look for confidence and happiness. Art became a real challenge to express my thoughts, to visualize my ideas. After attending regular school, graduating from the University of the Arts in Hamburg, back in the '90s, I have been working as a freelance illustrator for more than 30 years until today, and I am still passionate about it! I have worked for advertising, book publishers, and filmmakers. To make a living, I deal with creating and sketching all the time: animatics, sketches, layouts, storyboards, and illustrations. I love to make ideas visible. If you let me do - I can help you, too, to bring your thoughts to the surface! Fortunately, I find time to plan and create more oil paintings.
