ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork and others of my serie JUMBATE TARABUCO WARRIORS, are inspired in Jumbate battle, where tarabuco warriors defeated spanish forces in march 12 1816 at Jumbate. I want viewers to feel the PRIDE of tarabuco people. My style is influenced by Tiahuanaco archeology and culture, and vila-vila (my place of birth in Cochabamba) vessels which I enjoyed watching at town priest collection. Using this colors get me back to my childhood years in Vila-Vila, Novillero,Thipapampa and Aiquile here in Bolivia.
