ABOUT THE ARTWORK

More than anything else I love to look at the sky and the sea and the sunset ... I adore the sea .... I first saw the sea when I was 18 years old. At that moment I had a huge wound in my heart and my Mom sent me to the sea so that I was a little distracted ... The sea healed all my mental pain and I began to smile again. Since that time, the sea has been the best spiritual medicine for me. I really love to write the sea and the sunset. This picture will bring peace and tranquility. In this work I used canvas on a stretcher and oil paints. The sides of the picture are painted over.

Hello. My name is Julia. I'm from Ukraine. My paintings bring happiness and joy to the house because the gift of drawing was given to me by God since childhood. Once, when I was 10 years old, my mother came home from work and brought a calendar on the wall with the image of the characters from the Soviet cartoon "Just Wait", a wolf and a hare, and I really wanted to draw this picture. I picked up colored pencils and cardboard and began to draw. Much to the surprise of everyone, I did it !!!! My joy knew no bounds! All my school years, I painted in homemade A2 size cardboard albums that my dad made for me. My works have always been at the school's exhibitions. But, despite my talent, my parents could not enroll me in an art school ... After graduation, I entered the Pedagogical University, at the Faculty of Primary School Teacher with the additional specialization "Head of the Art Circle". At the university we taught fine arts. I started painting with oil on canvas. When I was painting, I was resting, forgetting about everything in the world !!!! Most of all I loved to write nature ... I had excellent grades in these subjects. But when we finished the 4th year of the university, we had a thesis - painting a picture. I painted my picture for several days ... then my dad made a beautiful frame and varnished it) I was looking forward to defending my thesis because I knew that my picture was one of the best in our group. And the day before the exam, my classmate asked to paint a picture for her, because she did not. And of course I helped. When I defended my thesis, I was sure that my grade would be "5", because I answered all the questions of the commission correctly and the teachers liked my picture. But when, after the exam, the whole group was invited to announce the grades, I heard that my grade for my thesis was “4”, and that the girl I painted the picture for was “5”. After the exam, I learned that many students paid examiners to have the highest score. And therefore, the teachers had to rate all other students lower…. Then I cried very much because this injustice simply killed all my efforts and love for painting. Then I said that I would never paint again. I was 20 years old ... I threw away all the paints and the easel and for 16 years did not paint a single picture ... After graduating from university, I slowly started doing my business.
