I have always painted. My professional activity has never been remotely related to the world of art, but I have always painted. I like to change the technique (oil, acrylic), procedure and theme. I guess these changes are not good for improvement but they make the painting process more fun and more uncertain. My paintings are fictional spaces, part internal, part theatrical. They are derived from my own constructions, often combining existing and identifiable objects mixed with imagined ones. The paintings explore personal territories, between representation and abstraction, between the object and the image. I believe that painting can be a place for meditation and surprise, openly contradictory, but extremely generous. I don't know why I paint what I paint, or what I say with what I paint, even if I want to say something with what I paint, maybe if I knew I wouldn't paint it, that's why when I ask myself, I don't answer it, and I continue like this, without knowing why I paint what I paint, without knowing why I paint, but I paint, I couldn't stop painting.
