I started painting for fun with my daughter when she was little. Watching her fearlessness, creativity and the way art came so naturally to her was inspiring to me. Like many of us do, I left play and creativity behind as I grew older. Motherhood changed that for me and has brought a renewed appreciation for the beauty and wonder in everyday moments. A warm cup of coffee in my hands, the way the sunlight comes in through our kitchen window, dancing with my daughter & husband. When I go into my studio I rarely have an idea of what I’m going to paint. I let my intuition inspire my color choices and movements. My art is calming, therapeutic and has given me a lot of joy. Painting this way is spiritual for me - a true test of trust and letting go. I hope my art adds color, beauty and joy to your space. You deserve it.
