"rest" Print

all my paintings are painted on wood of different thicknesses. I paint with acrylic mainly on a support sometimes coated with additions of lacquer or oily chalk / charcoal. The mixture of the subjects interests me particularly because it causes different sensations and brings to another dimension; One could get lost and yet the exercise is that it is held, mixed, interpenetrated. I work on building materials because it gives meaning to this concept of construction in my work. like the fact that there are layers and that one distinguishes additions or subtractions of matter. It reminds me of the walls of the pieces of building that are destroyed, then appears the successions of wallpaper, the different traces of tenant that have succeeded one another, an idea of time passing and happy or unhappy events that have been take place. I like the idea of a break at the sight of my paintings, in order to take the spectator to the place of his choice.
