This painting is a second study for a motif I found in a short documentary of a man doing a soundscape. I liked the idea of bringing something acoustically into a painting. One can see the atmospheric early morning situation and imagine the sounds of birds, water, trees....Just the opposite of what the small figure in the painting is doing.
