BORN 1948, My main Painting influences are Victoria Kiff, Sidney Nolan, Bruce Maclean Peter Fagan Sculptor, Malcolm Burch. Phil Upchurch, just people I have worked with. I do not acknowledge copyright law so all images can be copied free Painting is not about selling Art . It is an emotion. It takes you sometimes where others wont go, but its not controllable if its real . A good artist generally has no money as their paintings are not saleable as markets are set up for the representational followers of famous art . There is a safety clause in buying then . Someone who doesn't conform is simply rejected . In years gone by galleries were supportive only when they could see the unusual aspect of an artist’s work , nowadays they seek a living from artists .Its not the same . This generation is swamped with wannabes as populations bursts at the seams , everyone needing food and a life . Art is a modernist profession from countries trying to lead the world , and as such they should criticize existing systems that do not go far enough to support themselves . Usually stumped by corrupt men killing Art as they go . we are a minority and are sacrificial to them, Of course there are always those that call artists non essential but who designed their designer car or their clothes ? Time to look at the Art Business and rid it of the business of selling unemotional Art or at least make a distinction as to what Art is and what it should be . Business is dragging us down to its level . In my early experience it was simply called Graphics .Earlier still Graphics was powerful, not just Décor'. All the works on this site are for sale I do not like them or want them ...if not marked sold.. but the oversimplified complexities of this site and the fact that there are so many paintings that I am unable to locate in a small time allowed by this site makes it impossible to put prices on them all , and apart from that I have been unable to sell any so far which makes it a pointless task. Its a complicated system to go through with so many to price with no actual way to discuss the sales with a collector. It's a shame about this site, it is just another satellite site, that is unmanned and has little love for what it does, despite what it says on popups. it's a machine and It warms it's hands on artist's egos
