The core of Francesca Candito's work lies in the concept of "art as service," an approach in which the work becomes an active tool for the viewer's awakening and inner growth.
In her paintings, painting welcomes the written word through sentences that the artist channels directly from the quantum field—also defined as collective intelligence, universal memory, or Akasha (a Sanskrit term meaning "ether"). These texts do not arise from a mental or decorative process, but are messages imprinted on the screen for the viewer, focusing on fundamental themes:
The intrinsic power and soul nature of the human being.
The subtle and universal energy that composes matter and life.
The invisible aspects that support the development and conscious flourishing of one's self.
The pictorial work thus becomes a portal of energetic and informational resonance, designed to dialogue with the deepest part of the observer.
“Francesca Candito has the ability to capture the most ancestral nature of art, which is imbued with sacredness and can make the invisible visible: with her artistic mark, Francesca manifests the soul of the human being, with its emotions and psyche, and the intuition of the divine that reveals itself on earth. Her works are of great pathos, expressing the communication between the material world and the dimensions of the spirit and revealing the deepest meanings of both.” Tiziana Marchesi - Art Historian.
Technique and Media
Francesca Candito's artistic research has been the subject of important publications, including the renowned monographic magazine of contemporary anomalies OR NOT (Edizioni Arsprima), which dedicated an entire volume to her, exploring her research. Her work is characterized by a material and experimental technique on canvas, evoking the old masters of the Renaissance. The black background accentuates the volumes, light, and depths that Candito conveys through her painting. A second monograph was published by the Galleria di Arte Contemporanea di Vicenza on the occasion of her solo exhibition "Per tempo infinito," which successfully documented her research on paper. For the artist, working on canvas or on paper are two different experiences. The canvas brings the artist into contact with the material, almost as if she were shaping it with her hands.
