ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was taken during my expedition in Japan, determined to explore the source of my fascination with Mt. Fuji through the medium of photography and the local admirers of the mountain. I ended up meeting and becoming a student of the infamous Mt. Fuji photographer: Mr. Ohyama Yukio, who generously hosted me and provided me an opportunity to conduct my research. 2 photographers are waiting in their car for the milky way to appear above Mt. Fuji on a cold yet crisp February night.
