ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In my early art career, in the 1970’s in New York City, I produced large, non-subjective, abstract paintings. These photographs, although subjective, are also somewhat abstract and are similar to those paintings. Bridges have always been a fascination of mine, perhaps because they express often form through function and cross otherwise difficult water or terrain. I find them to be beautiful aesthetically, as well.
