ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of the pieces of my ongoing project called "Injections of Beauty". A modern city like Miami where I live is like an unpredictable labyrinth where beauty is mixed with stagnant, oppressive, depressing places. My task is to find the right places, angles and light to transform these surroundings through my camera eye in to something new, with different, maybe totally skipped meaning from the original. And as a person I also forgo transformation in a process - my mind and emotions reach much higher frequency and clarity. Plus I love the game aspect of the process - I call it "Hide and Seek".
