ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Once again the color yellow brings us to the presence in Lagos Nigeria. This image shows the spirit of the city of Lagos where you have to move ahead in everything you do, i love this photograph because it tells a story, and also shows a juxtaposition of reasoning, ideally the vehicle is suppose to be ahead of the woman, but the reverse is the case, looking at it from a more poetic or artistic point of view while machines might stop working, the average Lagosian keeps moving. This is the heart and spirit of lagos. We keep moving. I love this city.

I was born in Niger delta region of Nigeria on the 19th of may 1981. i currently reside in lagos, where i engage in street, documentary, fine art and portrait photography. My works are influenced by the documentary of Andrew Esiebo and the nude photography of Kelechi Amadi Obi. i am fascinated by the beauty of the female form, the lust, the symmetry, and the grace.
