ARTHUR RODRIGUES was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and now lives in New York City. He has studied at New York Academy of Art, Fashion Institute of Technology and Jacques Harvey Oil Academy in Miami, and his art has been shown in numerous exhibitions in New York, Miami and London. His considers his paintings architectonic abstractions, which he constructs using a unique and personal idiom of shapes and colors. His sculptures explore the relationship between the figurative and the abstract, using a number of different mediums. Arthur was selected as one of GLAAD's Top 100 Artists in 2008, 2010,2014 and his art has been featured in Saatchi Gallery online's "Your Gallery" and ARTnews magazine.Recently to support Visual Aids(LOVE POSITIVE WOMAN)MOMA Ps1 feb 2023.
