I employ a unique process to physically damage and then scan and digitally manipulate vintage 35mm film, with a range of results dependent upon variations in film type and digital techniques. I made my first batch of film damaged in this way when I was 19, and held the intention to one day make art using the process for 20 years. This piece is part of a large abstract series realizing that intention, focusing on exploring novel color schemes and rich textural elements to create unique and dynamic visuals.
