Tasha Butler is a contemporary artist exploring the Layers of Being through the intersection of reality and emotion. Following a successful career as an Art Director in Moscow—shaping the visual identity of premier interior brands like BOGACHO and AIM—she returned to her full-time practice in 2018. Now based on the Black Sea coast, Tasha’s work is a dialogue between her metropolitan roots and a diverse global perspective shaped by her travels across Europe and the Mediterranean. She moves seamlessly across three realms: the structural precision of 'Organic Geometry' in oil, the fluid metaphors of un-staged photography, and the mystical depths of her 'Wings of Silence' series. Whether using a palette knife for bold, tactile impasto or a soft-brush technique for atmospheric subjects like her 'Retired Guardian,' Tasha seeks the hidden essence of her subjects. Her practice—is a profound study in melancholy, grace, and the spiritual beauty found within the everyday.
