A calm, relaxing image made at the edge of the world. This image was made on the beautiful Isle of Harris, an island in the Outer Hebrides off the north coast of Scotland. It is a place of few people where the beaches are silver and the water is crystal clear. Here you can dream, here is a safe haven. At the edge of the world all is calm, all is quiet and all is safe. This romantic shot is hardly edited, the colours of the water had that magical quality that makes you think you are dreaming. I particularly love the little water flow over the sand on the left where the ripples were catching the sun like they do in a swimming pool. Canson paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. Canson are Eco Friendly which also makes them pretty special, they purchase paper pulp for their materials only from forests managed in a sustainable way.
