Luís Martins Pisco (aka piscografia/piscographia/Azul Cobalto Porto), is a photographer born in Lisbon, graduated in Anthropology and father of two daughters, who has lived and worked in Porto since the spring of 2001. In an autumn of the eighties he acquired his first camera and since then he observes and photographs his daily journeys through the cities he visits. From this roadtrip through everyday life in search of places, light, movement and states of mind, personal visual diaries are born whose documentary nature is deepened over time, as in the serie More Pictures About Dark Cities and Vacant Buildings, which was built along of several decades. Influenced by the work of authors such as Daido Moriyama and Trent Park, he photographs the transformations in the urban and social landscape of Porto and its surroundings, in images that have been published in the Another Postcards collection, that the author launched in 2018, or in series under construction such as Besieged/Silent Screams, Once were Tripeiros, Suburban landscapes or the unspeakable poetry of surrounding areas, or Urban Gardening.
