Nomadism , a way of life of people who do not live continually in same place but move clinically or periodically. It is distinguished from migration , which is noncyclic and involves a total change of habitat. All the Anthropologists have identified that about 500 nomadic groups in India , numbering perhaps 80 million people around 7% of the country's billion population. hey belong to a pastoral nomadic group called "ghosi" from north India. The community is landless and their main occupation was rearing of cow or buffalos and seling milk, but due to circumstances they were bound to sell their cattle.
