Giulio Gonella was born in Rome (1983), surrounded by prestigious artistic, historical and cultural heritage, where the advanced expressions of contemporary art allowed him to develop a strong sense of beauty and elegance. With the use of the camera, Gonella exposes the body of his subjects. Over that surface, a dimension is plotted disclosing a substratum - the substance of a nature, something human that, as exposed as it appears, is constituted by the interior of the subject's identity. After a discovering journey in India, which enhanced his passion for photography, Gonella moved to Madrid, where he collaborated on unique project based and Fashion photography. Winning the national "Nokia Talents" award for portraiture, he became a teacher of a photography in Rome where he is currently based.
