James Haywood began his career, taking photographs in the 1990s, after attending a social documentary class by the documentary photographer Adrian Gatie. Between 1990 and 2000 he had quickly become a leading practitioner in the North East of England and had worked in prestigous Designer Clothes shops in the North, they were called Psyche { FHM shop of the year winner ) owned by Steve Cochrane and another leading shop Triads owned by Gary and Colin Donaldson.
James Haywood has become a unique visual artist/photographer who has pushed at the boundaries of photo art for nearly two decades. He uses a variety of photo editing software and traditional methods, to establish a strong visual fine art style, this has taken many years of practice to master.
