ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A beach is a place where we can go to be alone but together. Whether it is in solitude or happiness, we blend as a unit of energy and share moments that often carry us away with the buildup and crash of a wave breaking into trillions of positive ions that fill us up and leave us lighter than before. This series is about the hazy memories of the Oregon coast during the pandemic, where it seemed like one of the few places people felt safe to live as they had before the invisible virus took over our lives.
