ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this picture by chance, but it surprised me with its beauty and mystery. I was photographing in a dangerous place, where there are many robberies and I was on a bike, and when I clicked, I moved the phone unintentionally. The result was this abstract image of blue and green rays of light on a black background. I thought this picture captured the emotion I felt at that moment: a mixture of fear, adrenaline and curiosity. I felt like I was entering an unknown world, where anything can happen. This picture also has a unique aesthetic, that reminds me of expressionist paintings or digital art.

My name is Vinícius and I am 24 years old. I was born in Curitiba in the south of Brazil, a city full of charm and culture. From an early age, I fell in love with photography and wanted to become a visual artist. I learned to capture images with different cameras, lenses and techniques, and since 2015 I started to create my own works of art.
