ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Picture this: Bok Tower Gardens, bathed in the enchanting glow of the night sky. Imagine strolling through this nocturnal paradise, surrounded by whimsical patrons wielding flashlights and illuminated by the warm glow of their phones. It's a captivating fusion of the natural and artificial worlds. During these rare after-hours events at Bok Tower Gardens, I embarked on a quest to capture the mesmerizing beauty of the stars streaking above the tower along with Polaris, the North Star, gracefully unveiling itself behind the majestic structure. Printing it on metal allows you to drift into the vastness of the cosmos. Feel the enormity of our world as it peacefully dances through the "great enveloping cosmic dark." It is a truly humbling experience that reminds us of the fragility of our existence. My astro-landscape photography is a poignant reminder to be kind to one another and cherish our precious planet. After all, we are a tapestry of stories and must craft meaningful and enriching narratives. This moment was captured on January 25th, 2020, at 8:01 PM. I made one 20x30 metal print that I've signed and dated on the back. You can order additional art and smaller metal prints here on Saatchi if you like.
