Since being given a Pentax SLR at the age of 12, the beauty of Photography has fascinated Paris.Through this passion he has developed the intuition and control necessary to identify the qualities essential to any situation, and deliver it through his work. He is intrigued by the way the play of time and composition on one frame can express the truth of a moment and subject. In 1998 Paris moved to London working as an assistant for advertising studios in London, Athens, Amsterdam and Berlin, but also was busy documenting his observations and building up his stock library and creating his own work. He was part of an artist group that exhibited in London and Amsterdam. In 2000 he returned to Sydney and worked as a freelance photographer shooting, fashion, portraits, products, interiors and architecture. He returned to Munich Germany in 2004 where he worked as the Personal Assistant to Jimmy Powell (Film Documentary and Photography. He created images for Burda Publishing. In 2006, Paris returned to Sydney and started commissioned work for publishing houses, media agencies and the corporate world. This involved editorial, advertorial and advertising photography, from people to product. He also was the Sydney Gallery Manager of Original and Authentic Aboriginal Art from 2006-2011 an investment blue-chip gallery in the Rocks, Sydney Australia, where he worked in both fields photography and art management. Now most of Paris's Work is primarily based on the Urban Built Environment, but acquiring more knowledge and skills in the field of social ecology and finding that interaction between the environment and society will open new doors and take him beyond his comfort zone to explore and document. He is currently at Macquarie University completing a Bachelor of Environment.
