ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the first image I ever hand-colored in the 70s, and it immediately won awards and the first edition almost sold out. A collector in NYC bought 50 prints to give as gifts. My then dealer hated them as she had another artist doing not very similar work. "Oh!" she said. "They will never sell." Then this image won a few national awards. We no longer work together.
