PRINT DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Buoy drop" Here in this bundle of buoys the color comes alive in the brightness of coastal lighting. The soft and bulbous surface of the buoys contrast the rough texture of the ropes. A background softened by the depth of field only highlights the crispness in the detail. The delicate fishing net and colorful braided rope is fitting, as we’re quickly transported back to the Ocean’s main enterprise. While difficult to balance the placement and arrangement within the lens, the balance of shapes and sizes is at full display. PRINT DETAILS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This print will include a 1 1/2" border that will be signed & numbered and include a Certificate of Authenticity. The image will be printed using archival inks Epson Papers Exhibition Fiber Fine Art Paper. It is a 325gsm, Fiber Photo Paper with Glossy Finish and Wide-Gamut. Please note that the estimated production time (delivery time not included) is 10-15 working days as this limited edition artwork is made to order.

Brandon LeValley (1954) is a photographic artist from the United States. In 1976 he graduated from Washington State University where he studied Art. His passion for photography was fueled early in life when he was still shooting film and utilizing a darkroom to process images. Holding a final print offered a world of experience seeing how the light on a subject materialized. Years later he realized the digital camera had revolutionized processing. Today, he converts most images to black and white and shoots botanicals for their dramatic line and shape. He’s also drawn to architecture and landscapes. Living near Joshua Tree National Park provides many compelling compositions that come from his explorations. While his journey in photography has evolved, his passion is still ignited by subject matter. A unique image, he believes, comes about by a disciplined and oftentimes exhaustive approach. Knowing the payoff can be so rewarding, that commitment to detail ultimately renders a more compelling work.
