Andy Mackay first published printed work in 2002 and first exhibited in 2007. Last year he was shortlisted for 2 national awards and won a prize in ZSL's inaugural photographic competition. His winning image is currently on show at Whipsnade Zoo. Following on from a successful month in Liverpool Cathedral in the spring his major solo exhibition "˜Man Thou Art a Wonderful Animal' continued its UK tour at Central Hall Westminster last autumn. The ambitious project was made possible by the cooperation of numerous wildlife parks and museums, and with generous sponsorship from Metro Imaging, Small Projects and Phase One.
