Rowynn Dumont is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in fine art photography that explores the intersections of identity, resilience, and transformation. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Rowynn’s work is deeply rooted in storytelling, psychology, and the aesthetics of cultural resistance.
Their photography often incorporates themes of imperfection, humanity, and the ephemeral nature of memory, drawing inspiration from personal narratives and global cultural histories. Rowynn’s creative process combines traditional techniques with contemporary experimentation, including the use of the wet plate collodion process to capture raw, tactile, and evocative images.
Rowynn has exhibited work internationally and is passionate about using art to foster connection and understanding. When not creating, they are pursuing a Master’s in Psychology and Design to further explore the therapeutic potential of creativity.
