Vladyslav Shut was born in 1993 in the Sumy region of Ukraine and currently resides in Kyiv. He is a software engineer and a photographer who specializes in landscape, street, and abstract photography. His interest in photography began during his childhood. He furthered his knowledge of artistic aesthetics under the guidance of the renowned Ukrainian photographer Dmitry Bogachuk at the Kiev Photo School. Describing himself as a traveler, philosopher, and world explorer, Vladyslav believes that photography deepens his understanding of the world. In 2021, after an extensive search for a means to express his worldview, he transitioned from travel photography to art photography and has since found greater freedom of expression in this field. When capturing images, Vladyslav aims to transcend the subject and space, seeking to encapsulate a sense of stillness and transparency within each frame. He perceives his photography as a "magical" narrative, offering viewers a glimpse into the profound depths of consciousness. Vladyslav's approach to artistic photography is centered on revealing the extraordinary within the ordinary, magnifying the significance of the small, and bestowing harmony upon those who engage with his images.
