CORPUS In the narrative structure of Corpus, bodies are vivified as a manifestation, where they no longer represent or imitate themselves but rather recreate themselves, sometimes in a subtle way, sometimes in a more deconstructive way; with the purpose of accessing an experimentation that is achieved only through movement, for which the presence of the spectator is needed to confirm through the sensations generated by the images; in this sense, the body becomes the pretext where the lights and shadows are reflected. The representations of the body take different and even contrasting nuances where it has been imitated, represented and, for some years, an object of art. The body as an artistic representation has as much history as the Altamira paintings; However, the body as an object of art, as a protagonist, as an entity that undergoes mutations and metamorphoses, allows it to be venerated as a means of expression with photography. Previously I had other explorations with the human body, but this time it was an amazing discovery because the element water, like a regenerator, healer and stimulant made my approach to the body take on a greater, more intimate and at the same time dreamlike meaning. The relationship of the body with water and darkness created a visual paradise that dazzled me completely and allowed me to capture these sensations in these photographs. In the process I used a Canon 35mm digital camera with the housing accessory and elaborated the photographs during the night in a swimming pool, in such a way that my source of light was only the artificial lights that are inside the pool. At the time of the photograph, only the model and I were there and we let the water be as still as possible and the model began to move while I was plugging. I printed the photographs with an inkjet process on moad cotton paper. Prints are hand signed, numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
