ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a photograph I took of the cutest 'Mouse Ears' prickly pear cactus that I discovered in the midst of the Grand Canyon, Arizona - whilst we were celebrating the first day of our honeymoon. We took a wonderful rafting trip along the Colorado River in the midst of the canyon and at lunchtime the company organising the trip had set up a picnic - with red-checked tablecloths - on a little beach area for us and this magical succulent was there to greet us! It's one of my favourite photographs - not only because it is infused with so many positive feelings but also because it is the most perfect and versatile image to put up in almost any room bringing the beauty of nature into your home. I've also gifted it numerous times for all sorts of occasions - from housewarmings and birthdays (including a number of babies) and everyone has loved it!
