About the Artist

Emilie Möri

France

Emilie Möri is a French fine art photographer and visual artist whose conceptual and surreal photographic works are collected internationally. Through colour, movement and carefully crafted imagery, she creates poetic visual narratives that explore memory, transformation and the subtle complexity of human experience.

Characterised by restraint and ambiguity, her work favours suggestion over explanation. Deliberately understated and often contemplative, her photographs create quiet spaces where emotions emerge naturally rather than being imposed. Leaving room for personal interpretation, they invite viewers to bring their own memories, feelings and experiences into the image, allowing each work to resonate in a unique and intimate way.

Working at the intersection of fine art photography, visual storytelling and conceptual image-making, Emilie Möri develops photographic series that blur the boundary between reality and imagination. Her work has been developed in collaboration with institutions such as UNESCO and the Paris National Opera, featured by The Guardian, Saatchi Art and Fisheye Magazine, and published by renowned French publishers including Gallimard and Folio.
