Still life photography is a long time obsession for me, for the last few years i am experimenting the use of Light Field photography to capture objects in unusual ways, the depth power the LF technology provides is giving me the chance to achieve "interesting" results. During this lock down, distanced from everything and everyone, a closer relation started to flourish with surrounding objects, fruits, foods, furniture etc.. This piece is part of a collection i called: Nature Morte, Alive! We are living in a very interesting time, the dense and contrast of events and things are overwhelming, the life and the death concepts are elevating and reshaping every thing we used to know. This collection is just a deep reflection. Enjoy!

Lost; and sometimes found artist! This is the short version of the story, but you still want the long one i guess. I started playing with colors and materials at early years, oil painting was my first intro to the world of art beside my first Kodak Instamatic 100 camera. I didn't learn techniques in art school, instead i learned most of what i mastered while working on restoration of ancient art walls and ceilings in the old Damascus houses. There where i was first introduced to original minerals and where i mixed my colors paste directly from raw materials. It was the most inspiring and rich experience for the young artist.
