I spent a week there to photograph and let me tell you - the "Beaches of a Different Hue" Eleuthera is renowned for its exceptional pink sand beaches, a natural phenomenon resulting from the abundance of foraminifera, tiny marine creatures with pink shells. This image is printed on metal and mounted on a half inch float mount. Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, images will take on an almost magical luminescence.
