Endless Calmness - Limited Edition of 14 Print

Hello, My name is Piotr Gortat. I am a photographer from Warsaw, Poland. My work is highly aesthetic, well-composed and refined in every detail. I am a perfectionist who does not take shortcuts and spend lots and lots of time to work on my photographs. Let me introduce this photo and tell you the story behind it. I took this photograph during the sunset on August 14, 2020 on the beach in Stegna, Poland. The Baltic Sea was so calm, there was no wind and the colors were absolutely beautiful. It was quite difficult to take this picture, especially because the exposure time was 140 long seconds. The key to this photo was that during the exposure both no one could approach the tripod (causing shake and ruining the picture) and the seagulls that could not move at all. Luckily, both conditions were achieved. I was very happy when realized, that I made it as I wished. This photograph will always remind me of joy, peace, quiet and calmness. I want you to know that there is no photomanipulation in this picture at all. The quality of the original file is flawless and much better than you can see here.
