This compelling monochromatic image conveys a sense of awe and wonder, transporting the viewer to the ancient ruins of Ephesus. It focuses on the imposing facade of the Celsus Library, a testament to the city's rich history and architectural heritage. The image effectively illustrates the complex details of the stone carvings and architectural elements that have withstood the test of time. The stark contrast between light and shadow serves to accentuate the library's majestic columns and statues, while simultaneously drawing attention to the rich textures and weathered surfaces of the ancient stones. The foreground contains remnants of carved marble blocks, offering insight into the once-thriving Roman city. In the background, modern visitors explore the site, bridging the gap between past and present. This photograph, which is both timeless and a tribute to the enduring legacy of ancient civilizations, would make a striking addition to any art collection.

Dr. Tunç T. Evcimen is a Turkish photographer, researcher, and accomplished management consultant. His career is characterized by analytical, innovative, and academic pursuits, with history, visual arts, and creativity playing a complementary and inspirational role. Evcimen's academic background includes training as a mathematical engineer, followed by further studies in management science. His professional journey began as a management consultant, where he harnessed his expertise to collaborate with over 600 institutions, significantly influencing their strategic trajectories. Simultaneously, he shared his wealth of knowledge and insights by delivering courses on creativity and innovation at prestigious Turkish universities. In 2006, Evcimen embarked on a new chapter in his career, transitioning into the realm of photography. After years of honing his skills in oil painting, he embarked on a photographic odyssey that encompassed a wide range of photographic genres and active participation in workshops dedicated to portrait and fashion photography. He further refined his craft through masterclasses led by eminent representatives of the Magnum Photos school, affording him invaluable opportunities to collaborate with esteemed luminaries such as Abbas, Economopoulos, D'agata, Chang, and Zackman across the globe. This global exposure ignited a series of photographic projects spanning diverse regions, including the Far East, India, the Americas, Europe, and his native Turkey. Evcimen's portfolio has graced the pages of IZ Magazine, where he captured the discerning eye of the world-renowned Ara Güler, the magazine's editor-in-chief. Notably, one of his projects, appropriately named "Stone," garnered significant attention and acclaim, earning a prominent place in an exhibition hosted by the Bursa Fotofest in 2018. His perspective in photography is the result of a diverse background encompassing engineering, mathematics, social sciences acumen, and a profound engagement with the arts. Evcimen's fervent exploration of themes such as identity, place, and memory can be described as a transmedia and transdisciplinary approach to postmodern history writing.
