ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This picture was taken at Marine Drive, Mumbai, India. I have been going there since my childhood. My father used to take me there for a ride in decorated horse-cart. I was always excited about it. After all these years, those carts are disappearing, from hundreds of them to few handful now. Now all you see are cars and taxi. This picture depicts that transition, wherein the blur image of a cart and a clear image of a car, the evolution of technology and end of memories.
