ABOUT THE ARTWORK

(...)The light blinded me for a long time. I was no longer in pain, but I could feel the dampness of my bleeding skin and the dried, torn flesh under my fingernails. The scabs oozed the liquid that nearly took my life. I noticed the swarming of the air on the sheet, it didn't touch me, a kind of gravity protected me and caressed my wounds. All the bad had happened. By the time I got used to the light, I stopped looking at the ravages of my body and focused on the wonderful view that was presented to me. Who would have told me that now I would be free, wandering like an inert mass of bones and blood, completely destroyed. Still noticing how bloodstream's crystals crack the veins(...) That pain came back and never left.
