That afternoon around the lake is engraved in my heart.  A faded love has become tears. A stone's throw from the calm waters I used to walk that road, I saw the face, languid, the tears was filled with autumn and it was not over yet.  It was deep love in that heart.  Vent anger, break the glass of the past and get lost in this lake of tears.  Forget this faded love. This piece is part of the Faded Love series born by chance during an autumn walk along the banks of Lake Sanjeong-Hosu in South Korea. Around the lake, water plants that I had never seen were repeated like a constant. Initially I wasn't ready to photograph them, I preferred to enjoy the breath of autumn, the calm of the moment and the slight movement of the water. Suddenly, however, I came across a young couple caught in a personal drama, a drama like many others or maybe not, where love fades and never comes back. There was something mystical in that, she kept staring at the lake crying towards the plants, as if she wanted to talk in silence to them to express all her pain. And then a nod of reconciliation, an embrace, but nothing to do, away along the lake with the eyes always towards the attentive plants. He remained there incredulous, wistful for moments now lost, for those eyes never seen again. I stood there pitying and decided to photograph the witnesses of that drama, of that faded love.
