ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Sensory Experience and Work of Art, part of a series of portraits from the personal photography exhibition "Female Retrospect Light" (2018). The artwork is printed under Gicleé System Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm 100% cotton paper, conforming to ISO 9706. Acid Free. Museum quality - Archival pigment. Limited edition photograph of 20 fine art prints, signed and authenticated with personalized numbered certificate. Only 15 fine art prints available for sale. Through this exhibition, lovers of Auteur Portrait photography are presented with the female portrait in a pure form: gaze and light. Through natural lights and without artificial elements, deep looks and feelings are captured and deciphered beyond a photograph, with a marked intention of retro shadows that take us to the 80s. Under the same lights and tones, nuances of the same emotional state are expressed, but from a distant perspective and of the backstage type. The shadow of the model represents her alter ego. Another detail of Black and White is the inclusion of the secondary character who is taking the photograph in the third person, which somehow makes a link between the Shadow World of the Alter Ego, and as a silhouette against the light of the Ego. We are used to observing through a screen within an almost virtual digital world, through this work we try not only to transmit visual sensations, but to extend pleasure through touch, with a 100% cotton photographic paper of the highest quality, taking the artistic experience to another level, where we will have the possibility of interacting with a work in a museum quality material, feeling the sound of rubbing the paper, the smell of inks, sensory experiences that absolutely surpass any digital experience. Author photography not only tries to awaken new sensations within a photograph, but the aesthetic care in every detail, the composition of the photograph and extending the visual experience to other senses, allows us to generate a unique atmosphere. My premise is to try to enchant the viewer. In that search there will be people who capture the perspective and can imagine the complete experience of having the work in their hands, and touching a soul after that experience makes it all worthwhile. -- Note: The purchaser is acquiring ownership rights only of the physical work of art described, and that this transfer of ownership of the physical work of art does not convey to the purchaser any copyright or reproduction rights except (a) the right to display the physical work of art and (b) reproduce the work only in an exhibition catalog relating to exhibit of the work, and in no other medium. Passionate photographer, specialized in ‘auteur portraiture’ (author portrait) and creative production. Fan of drawing and videography... -- About Me... Since I was a kid, I have loved capturing images and trying to represent moments with a different and very personal perspective, and at the same time, allowing free interpretation. Technology has always been a part of my life, especially computing and digital design. I am self-taught and as a child I learned to combine my pencil drawings with digital editing software. This opened the door to digital art that I am passionate about continuing to discover. I consider that "art" is part of all sciences. I am also a Civil Engineer with specialties and a Master's degree in different fields, and what excites me the most is being able to combine 2 branches of art that, although they have different currents, are in a World that I want to continue discovering through those people who allow themselves to see that World in its own way. For this reason I allowed myself to share my works that I had “hidden" until close people encouraged me to show it to the World ... Little by little I will be showing more of those works that has been inspiring me in every moment of my life. I hope you enjoy them.
