I have enjoyed art from a very young age,but was never encouraged to use it as a means to a career. I finished my schooling at a private school ,that actually did not teach art, the closest subject was technical drawing. Which of course I hated. I finally joined the army as a Chef, this gave me the opportunity to be creative all be it with food. I had fun with art bringing up the children, I think I enjoyed it more than they did. None of them have gone on to take up art although my son can paint beautifully,but has no time. I now have the money, time and space to do my own are I love to make sculptures and concentrate mainly on the macabre, but I think it's because there are no rules. I will now be concentrating on direct replication such as sculptures of real people and film characters
