Stephane BENITO is a French surrealist and conceptual artist. His work explores existential questions, revelations about the absurdity of our human condition, research into the unknown and the beyond, and plumbs the depths of the endless continuity of matter from one form to another. Born in 1975 in Pau in the south of France, he composed music throughout his adolescence. He then practiced travel photography and portraits, gradually sliding into increasingly conceptual and surreal images. After studying Physics and Chemistry, he learned photography at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts et de la Communication in Pau. His mixed technique combines photography and digital painting, acrylic and collage.
