ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Inspired by Hieronymous Bosch metaphysically rich symbolic landscapes, Dada photomontages by Max Ernst, sensual Surrealist paintings by Paul Delvaux, unapologetic psycho-sexuality of Egon Schiele drawings, and Freudian-Jungian concepts of sexual symbolism as archetypes within dreams and the Collective Unconscious. Goddess Scroll Fragments are alchemical distillations of numerous digital images captured exclusively by my camera/eye of extensive global travels to sacred sites, international model/muse collaborative interactions, fine art fused with popular culture, Nature out of context of Time or Space, baroque theatricality with unexpected details of arcane items for cabinets of curiosities, including occasional objets d'art from innumerable museums as well as my vast sculptural catalogue raisonne and endlessly recombinant psyche transforming through chaotic altered states of consciousness within an insidiously self-absorbed construction of idiosyncratic imagination.
