As a technologist who lives in Europe, identity is a critical aspect of my life, especially how Connected Identity drives culture. Using technology to create this art, I hope to convey an African Consciousness in the Technological Age, a metaphysics built on an animistic view of existence and self-determination. A mentality that sees subsidiarity in relation to the global and what you might call the local, with the nation-state and entrepreneur/artist somewhat positioned in the middle but reconfigured to allow for global issues to be addressed internationally and local issues to be resolved where they manifest themselves most dramatically—in Africa, for example.
