ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On one of my short content gathering trips for my Chakra series, I decided to explore the area around Govardhan, famous in Indian mythology as the place Krishna held up a nearby hill with his little finger, a demonstration of his divine power. As it was, the landscape was mostly very flat with endless rice paddies accented with these little trees. I used this as the base image for my epic Sri Yantra image that can be seen in the Chakras collection.

I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and travelled all over the world with my parents before settling in The UK for my education. I went to Sherborne School and Reading University before moving to London to be a photographic assistant to many different photographers including Anthony Blake and Spencer Rowell. Then I moved to Australia to further my career in photography that is now 35 years long as a commercial and art photographer in Sydney. I have had several exhibitions including Transformation 1992, Lifeforce 1996, Sahaja 2000, and have completed new spiritual works, The Chakras, 2014 that are shown here on Saatchi Art. I now also teach photography with Alfonso Photo tours in Sydney.
