Simone Massafra was born in Puglia (south Italy) on 1984 and studied fine art in Lecce, Urbino and Milano. Her work is interdisciplinary and uses photography, installation, sculpture, performance and books.
In 2009 he traveled on a cargo ship 40 days between Northern Europe and Middle-East. So he realized FLOATING CHURCH: this reportage point out the tough reality of the seamen.
He lives and works in Milano.
